Theoretically, I May Be Unemployable
I must confess, after all this talk about computers and technology… I’m not actually any good at it. I mean sure I can type essays in MS Word or make a somewhat presentable Powerpoint presentation but I have no idea how any of it really works. I know how to search for recipes on Google but I have no idea how the internet really works or how to fix my laptop when it crashes. The list goes on and on and I can’t stress how much it confuses me to watch my brother and father assemble CPUs. So realistically, me, finding a job in IT is laughable.
After days of scrolling through the possible jobs I can at least not mess up, I have come to the conclusion that I may be fairly good at being a customer relationship management specialist. It requires a little higher than average grasp on Microsoft Office applications and a calm demeanor to face customers and clients. While I’m definitely not the most sociable person, I can easily adapt to most people’s conversation style. While I adore efficiency and instant gratification, I am also patient enough to handle customer queries and difficulties. As the main role with being a customer relationship management specialist is to maintain a good relationship between the company and the customer, I believe I am a bit of a people pleaser, which is a plus for this job. Lastly, I can learn quickly, whatever system or program the company is using and the products and services it has to relay to the customer.
